The Tamper Siren setting controls whether your lock makes an audible alarm when it is moved or tampered with while it is locked. In some cases, such as when your bike is stored in your home’s garage, you may not need this feature and may wish to keep the alarm off. Go to Settings icon > Tap the slide on Tamper Siren to toggle between ON and OFF.
When the alarm sounds
When your LINKA is locked and it detects unwanted bike movement, it will sound a 110 dB siren to draw attention to the attempted theft. Like a car alarm, the LINKA siren will continue for a period of time after movement stops.
Tamper alerts
When the siren is triggered, and you are within Bluetooth range of your LINKA, you will receive a tamper alert on your mobile phone.
Adjusting Tamper Sensitivity
To adjust your lock’s sensitivity to unwanted movement, tap on Tamper Sensitivity under the Settings page of your LINKA app.
NOTE: You can only adjust tamper sensitivity if you are the owner of your LINKA.
